“Thank You Saudi Arabia” Celebration
To honor Saudi Arabia’s historic stand toward Egypt, its people, and its causes, the Arabian Media Network created the “Thank You Saudi Arabia” celebration as a model of how media can build real bridges between nations and leadership.
The event was organized in cooperation with the General Union of Arab Producers in December 2015 at the Opera House of Misr University for Science and Technology in 6th of October City, Cairo. It was supported by Al Naqoor International Investment Group and held under the patronage of Egyptian Prime Minister Eng. Sherif Ismail, represented at the event by Minister of Culture Helmy El Namnam.
The celebration was a sincere expression of appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s political, economic, and media support for Egypt. It featured a comprehensive program of artistic performances, media segments, and award presentations, including a musical operetta that reflected the deep brotherhood between the Egyptian and Saudi people.
The event witnessed wide official, artistic, and media attendance, and received extensive coverage across newspapers, television channels, and online platforms, highlighting the special relationship between Cairo and Riyadh. It remains a symbolic tribute to a noble stand and a memorable event in the hearts of both nations under the slogan “Thank You Saudi Arabia”.
