Awards Report
Over more than 30 years, the Arabian Media Network and its sister company Alwan Artistic Production have received over 100 Arab and international awards in recognition of their achievements and media projects that support development and society.
Among key achievements, the network set a Guinness World Record for producing the largest joint television broadcast for one of its programs. It was also awarded Best Production Company Worldwide by the Awards Council in the United Kingdom. Additionally, its television program “Smart Government” won the award for Best Educational Program in Technology at the World Summit on the Information Society in Geneva.
At the international level, the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) granted the network a certificate of recognition for its media programs supporting women and development. Regionally, the League of Arab States honored the network for initiating the Arab Archive initiative. The General Union of Arab Producers also awarded it a shield of recognition for creating and producing the “Thank You UAE” and “Thank You Saudi Arabia” celebrations. Meanwhile, the Arab Tourism Organization honored it for launching and implementing the “Arab Tourism” initiative.
In the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Royal Court honored the network for producing the documentary “Candles that Lit the Era of Hussein.” In Qatar, it received the Pioneers of Social Responsibility Award from the Arab Organization for Social Responsibility. In the United Arab Emirates, the government recognized the network for its contributions to supporting the digital transformation of government services, as well as for launching the “I Am Digital” initiative, which evolved into a national campaign, a television program, and an annual event known as the Smart Government Exhibition and Conference.
Furthermore, Watani Al Emarat Foundation awarded the network the prestigious “Fingerprint Award,” presented to strategic partners supporting national initiatives. The Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Childhood Creativity granted it a commemorative shield for the Creativity Document initiative, which was presented to the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and signed by Their Highnesses the Rulers of the UAE and Crown Princes. The Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research also honored the network with a certificate of appreciation, alongside recognition from Awqaf Dubai for its contribution to printing the first edition of the Sheikh Maktoum Mushaf.
The numerous awards and recognitions received by the network, its team, and its President, media figure Dr. Mustafa Salameh, reflect the creativity and excellence achieved through innovative media programs and projects that have established a new school of Arab media, one that serves development and supports joint Arab media work.
