“Saudi Arabia in Our Hearts” Celebration – Beirut 2017
At the beginning of March 2017, and under the patronage of Al Naqoor International Investment Group, the Arabian Media Network organized a unique media event that reflected the deep Saudi-Lebanese relations and the strong bonds of brotherhood between the two nations. From the heart of Beirut, this event shined under the slogan “Saudi Arabia in Our Hearts.”
The celebration was held under the official patronage of Prime Minister Saa’d Al Hariri and attended by high-level political and media figures from both countries. It served as a gesture of appreciation from the Lebanese government and people for Saudi Arabia’s toward Lebanon.
During the event, Prime Minister Saa’d Al Hariri was honored, with the award received on his behalf by Minister of Telecommunications Jamal Al Jarrah. A number of prominent Saudi and Lebanese figures were also honored, along with major Saudi media outlets such as MBC Group, Rotana Network, Okaz newspaper, Talha magazine, Layalina magazine, and others.
In recognition of their influential role in strengthening Saudi-Lebanese relations and supporting joint Arab women’s efforts, the event also honored a group of leading female figures, including former First Lady Mona Al Harawi and Bahiyah Al Hariri, and Dr. Rehab Zein El Din, Ambassador of Arab Women.
“Saudi Arabia in Our Hearts” was not just a media slogan echoed across newspapers and TV channels, but a true reflection of the deep relationship between Saudi Arabia and Lebanon, summed up in the famous words of the founding King Abdulaziz Al Saud: “Lebanon is your second home”.
