Cairo, October 19
The Arab Parliament, headed by H.E. Adel bin Abdulrahman Al Assoumi, signed two memorandums of understanding with the Arabian Media Network and the Arab Women Campaign. These agreements come as part of ongoing cooperation, especially with the Parliament’s focus on meaningful media and on supporting and empowering Arab women in facing challenges across Arab societies. The signing took place during the opening session of the Arab Parliament’s second session of the third legislative term, held at the headquarters of the League of Arab States in Cairo.
The agreements were signed on behalf of the Arab Parliament by its Secretary-General, Counselor Kamel Shaarawy, while the Arabian Media Network was represented by Dr. Mustafa Salameh. The agreement aims to enhance cooperation in implementing media projects developed by the network that support the goals of the Arab Parliament. The Arab Women Campaign was represented by Dr. Rehab Zein El Din, and the agreement focuses on joint efforts in implementing projects, programs, and activities that support Arab women’s issues.
