Our Initiatives

As part of a broader vision to modernize Arab media and strengthen its role as a tool for awareness and influence, a number of strategic projects have been launched. These aim to unify efforts, improve content quality, and strengthen Arab media independence.

“Testimony for the UAE” Initiative

In line with the UAE National Day celebrations in early December 2023, the Arabian Media Network launched a national initiative titled “Testimony for the UAE,” on behalf of Arab communities living in the UAE.

This community media campaign aimed to stand against misleading campaigns on social media that attempt to harm the UAE’s image and overlook its long-standing humanitarian and supportive role in Arab and international issues, especially during difficult times and crises in the region.
The initiative highlighted the UAE’s efforts, both by its leadership and people, in supporting fellow Arab countries during challenges and hardships.
The initiative was carried out under the support of H.E. Abdul Jalil Al Blooshi, who is known for supporting national and community initiatives at both local and regional levels.

“Testimony for the UAE” Initiative

In line with the UAE National Day celebrations in early December 2023, the Arabian Media Network launched a national initiative titled “Testimony for the UAE,” on behalf of Arab communities living in the UAE.

“Our Children Are Hope, and Our Media Is a Responsibility” Initiative

The idea of this initiative was created and implemented by the Arabian Media Network, with support from H.E. Abdul Jalil Al Blooshi. The initiative aims to combat harmful content directed at children,

including inappropriate behavior, unethical content, and extremism in media. It was launched from the UAE to promote a unified and responsible Arab media approach in addressing and limiting such content.
A press conference was held to launch the initiative on January 28, 2023, in Amman, Jordan, on the sidelines of the Arab Media Forum, organized by the Media and Communication Sector of the League of Arab States in partnership with the Jordanian Ministry of Government Communication and the Arab Satellite Broadcasting Authority.

I’m Connected Initiative

In June 2013, the Arabian Media Network launched the first initiative of its kind titled “Smart Government – I’m Connected,” in cooperation with the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority in the UAE.

The initiative was announced during GITEX Technology Week through a press conference held at the Authority’s platform. The event was attended by H.E. Mohammed Nasser Al Ghanim, Director General of the Authority, and media figure Mustafa Salameh, CEO of the Arabian Media Network.
The Director General welcomed the initiative, considering it an important part of promoting the UAE’s transition toward smart government.

I’m Connected Initiative

The document was signed by the Rulers of the UAE and later presented to the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan for his signature.
The charter was created in appreciation of Sheikh Zayed’s legacy of giving, achievements, and leadership. It reflects the progress and development achieved under his guidance, and his continuous efforts to provide a better life, prosperity, and a strong future for the people of the UAE.
His wise leadership played a key role in advancing the nation and placing it among leading countries in the world.

Municipalities Shield Initiative

The “Municipalities Shield” initiative was created by the Arabian Media Network in 2007 and implemented through the General Secretariat of Municipalities in the UAE. The idea was for the Municipalities Council to

present a special shield to H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, in celebration of the country’s 36th National Day. This was a gesture of appreciation for his continuous support of municipalities across the UAE and his many contributions and generous efforts.
On December 2, 2007, the General Secretariat of Municipalities officially announced the message of the shield, expressing gratitude and appreciation from all UAE municipality directors for his leadership, support, and role in driving development and progress in the country.
Later, on December 21, 2007, H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan received the Municipalities Shield in the presence of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, then Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. The shield was presented as a symbol of appreciation for his major role in supporting development across the UAE.
