In line with National Day celebrations, Arab communities in the UAE launched the “Testimony for the UAE” campaign as a community media initiative aimed at standing against misleading campaigns on social media that attempt to distort the UAE’s honorable humanitarian and historical role in Arab and international issues, especially during the difficult and critical times facing the region.
The campaign represents a true voice from Arab communities living in the UAE, highlighting the country’s humanitarian efforts and continuous support, both from its leadership and people, in standing side by side with fellow Arab nations during times of crisis and hardship.
It also serves as a gesture of appreciation and gratitude, expressing the pride, belonging, and respect that Arab communities feel toward the UAE’s long-standing honorable positions. These values go back to the legacy of the founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and continue today under the leadership of H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, both locally and in supporting Arab and Islamic causes.
The campaign also reflects the reality experienced by residents in the UAE, especially Arab communities, living in an environment built on justice, equality, respect, tolerance, and social unity, making the UAE a place of safety, stability, and peace.
The initiative is supported by H.E. Abdul Jalil Al Blooshi, who has consistently supported national and community initiatives at both local and Arab levels, including initiatives such as “Our Children Are Hope, and Our Media Is a Responsibility” and “101 Ideas.”
On this occasion, he confirmed that the campaign will serve as a voice of truth, representing Arab communities in the UAE and standing against misleading narratives that attempt to harm the UAE’s strong and consistent positions toward Arab causes.
Campaign coordinator Mr. Mowaffaq Ali Al Kilani also stated that the initiative reflects the real experience of Arab communities living in the UAE, who have witnessed the values and genuine support of the Emirati people toward Arab and humanitarian causes. He added that such misleading campaigns are weak attempts to distort facts, create division, and weaken Arab unity.
