The program aims to raise awareness about the importance of smart and digital transformation in government services, while highlighting available e-services and their applications on smartphones. It also addresses the risks and negative aspects of using social media, and can be used to promote the activities of the Arab Committee for Electronic Media.
\nIt is worth noting that, in line with selecting Dubai as the Capital of Arab Media 2020, the UAE hosted several activities and events based on the decisions of the 50th session of the Council of Arab Information Ministers, including the 15th meeting of the Arab Committee for Electronic Media, which led to the launch of the \u201cDigital Government\u201d program.
\nThe idea of this program dates back more than three years, as it was initially adopted at the national level in the UAE and achieved global recognition at the World Summit on the Information Society in Geneva as a distinguished media project promoting digital transformation and encouraging citizens to use modern technology applications.
\nThe Arabian Media Network is responsible for implementing the program, with the first episodes set to launch in mid-February through joint broadcasting across several UAE and Arab TV channels.
